Angela is a published author, speaker, holistic health practitioner and teacher. She shares her skills with clients & students as a Certified Reflexologist, Certified Holistic Aromatherapist, AcuAroma Therapist, Reiki Master/Teacher and Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. Her work as the Oregon Director for NAHA (National Assn for Holistic Aromatherapy) allows her to share her craft with essential oil enthusiasts worldwide.

Angela is the author of “Aromatherapy for Menopause Success” and has inspired women across the globe to use essential oils to balance hormones using essential oils and AcuAroma Therapy. Her recently published AcuAroma Therapy Card Deck and Ebook have now reached 12 countries.

Her work in aromatherapy includes teaching AcuAroma Therapy for Bodyworkers and has created the AcuAroma Therapy Level 1 Certification program for individuals who want to be certified to facilitate AcuAroma Learning Circles. There is also an AcuAroma certification program for Reiki

practitioners in her online school. Angela helped develop and implement the Aromatherapy program for cancer patients in her local community.

Since 2016 she has helped hundreds of patients, family members and staff using AcuAroma Therapy in the hospital setting. In her private practice she uses AcuAroma Therapy as part of her work with women’s hormonal health, reflexology and reiki sessions.

Her passion is to connect with clients and students on a deeper level to bring about healing, empower them with knowledge and facilitate both personal & professional growth.

Angela loves to engage with practitioners in new ways using aromatic plant medicine to inspire and enhance their holistic practices. Continuing to learn from the essential oils and acupoints as part of the experience is very fulfilling to her. She is always eager to share fun and engaging educational opportunities in the classroom as well as her medicine garden.

Joseph J. Carter, L. Ac. is an accomplished practitioner, author and teacher in the fields of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Deep Ecology & Aromatherapy. He is a graduate of the College of Natural Resources (UC Berkeley 1982) with a self-crafted Major in Ecological Community Design & Development. Drawn to the healing arts of Acupressure & Herbology, he went on to study and teach at the Acupressure Institute (Berkeley, CA), where he was a student, a teacher, the Assistant Director & then Director over a period of 30+ years. He studied TCM at the Academy of Chinese Culture & Health Sciences (Oakland, CA) earning his California Acupuncture license in 1988. In the field of Aromatherapy, he has worked, studied, and co-taught Aroma Point Therapy with Tiffany Carole, L. Ac. for nearly a decade. He has also studied with David Crow, L.Ac., Peter Holmes, L.Ac. & Kurt Schnaubelt, Ph.D., and is an avid practitioner/promoter of the integrative, ecological, and common sense approach Schnaubelt terms the “California Style”.

He has developed and teaches Acu-Aroma Therapy, an integrative healing art combining Plant Spirit Medicine, Deep Ecology, and Acupoint Therapeutics. His combination of Classical Chinese Medicine understandings with Deep Ecological insights makes AcuAroma Therapy a transformative healing art and a practice that “Generates Healing Solutions for People, Plants & Planet. Kathy Wilcox is a Certified Clinical Aromatherapist, Usui and Holy Fire Reiki Master Practitioner/Teacher, Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, RYT-200 Yin and Hatha Yoga Teacher,Tarot Reader and Level 1 Certified AcuAroma Therapist.  

Kat is a multi-modal practitioner who often combines disciplines when she is assisting her clients. She has found that a holistic approach is often more effective than utilizing any one modality on its own.  Her Reiki sessions and Tarot readings may include aromatic recommendations for energetic, emotional, and physical balance;  sound healing with tuning forks; or instruction in breathing and meditation practices borrowed from Yoga. She believes in empowering her clients to make lifestyle changes to align with living their true potential and best lives.  Kat has over 20 years of experience in the healing arts field. 

Kat has a small healing arts center just outside of Potsdam, NY where she holds individual consultations and private sessions, workshops, and classes.  She is also employed by the New York State Department of Education as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for youth. In her spare time, she plays the piano and violin; creates new aromatic products; and continues her studies in the healing arts.

Judith is a Level 1 Certified AcuAromatherapist, Reiki Master, Shamanic Energy Practitioner, Meditation Instructor & lover of the Plant World.  With an MA in Anthropology, she has been studying the relationship between plants and humans for many years.  The owner of Almus Energy Medicine, she offers sessions, classes, a mentoring program and Learning Circles.  She is also the founder of Plant Speak Courses, which houses online learning for the sacred art of communicating with plant spirits.  

Anne-Caroline Floch-Ngy is a Level 1 Certified AcuAroma Therapist, Certified Whole Person Coach (PCC ICF credentialed) specialized in Life & Holistic Wellness Coaching and an Usui Reiki Master. She believes in a whole person approach to help people reconnect the dots between their body, their heart, their mind and their soul, so they can experience their life fully. As an advocate of lifestyle medicine and self-care, she brings her expertise in face yoga, face gua-sha, acuaroma therapy, and qi gong in her 1:1 coaching cycles, 1:1 self-care treatments and in her Holistic Self-Care Circles.​

Ruxandra M Meinze is a Level 1 NAHA Certified Aromatherapist and owner of Rifugium Aromaticum in Brunswick, MD. Specializing in aromatherapy for anxiety, depression, and PTSD, she has recently expanded her services to include AcuAroma Therapy, which offers support on your healing journey through the holistic and targeted application of essential oils on key acupressure points.

Her journey into aromatherapy began in 2019 when she sought complementary healing modalities to help her husband manage his combat-related PTSD symptoms. Ruxandra earned her Level 1 certification from the renowned Aromahead Institute and is currently pursuing advanced certifications in Clinical Aromatherapy. She has further enhanced her skills through training with respected institutions and mentors such as the Tisserand Institute, JennScents Aromaversity, The School for Aromatic Studies, Waves of Change Wellness, The Northwest School of Aromatic Medicine, Madeleine Kerkhof, Salvatore Battaglia, Gabriel Mojay, Jonathan Benavides, Jane Lawson, and Lorrie Hargis.

Ruxandra holds professional memberships in the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA), the Alliance of International Aromatherapists (AIA), and the International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists (IFPA).

With a professional background spanning diverse roles, Ruxandra brings a wealth of experience to her practice. Prior to establishing Rifugium Aromaticum, she spent five years as a Patient Services Coordinator with Allegany Optical and My Eye Dr. in Frederick, MD. Before relocating to the United States, she served as an integral member of Dr. med. dent. Franziska Ries's dental team in Mannheim, Germany, where she provided chairside assistance, managed patient records, and oversaw office finances. Simultaneously, Ruxandra pursued her dental education at J. W. Goethe Universität in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

Ruxandra's commitment to service extends beyond her professional endeavors, as evidenced by her volunteer work at the Financial Readiness Office at Fort Drum, NY, and Fort Detrick, MD. Additionally, she has held treasurer positions within her community HOA in Spanaway, WA, and at the 511MP Co in Fort Drum, NY.

Born in Lugoj, Romania, and holding German nationality, Ruxandra is happily married to her husband Nelson for 25 years, with whom she shares two college-aged children. Since 2013, they have called Brunswick, MD, their cherished home.
